Feral Feline Project is Seeking Volunteers
Feral Feline Project is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) of feral & stray outdoor cats in and around the Wheeling, IL area.
Feral & stray cats are safely trapped and transported to a veterinarian clinic to be spayed and neutered. They are returned to their outdoor colony and cared for continuously by their colony caretaker. This method is successful in safely reducing the population of feral cats outdoors. You could save the lives of cats and kittens!
TNR and shetler volunteers are needed for:
Socialize and foster cats and
kittens in your home
Clean cages twice a week at
PetSmart, 700 N. Milwaukee Ave.
Vernon Hills, IL
Socialize cats and kittens at
Transport cats and kittens to and
from veterinarian and PetSmart.
Help trap stray cats and transport them to and from clinics
- Help in handing out flyers door to door in highly populated feral cat areas about TNR
- Assist and participate in fundraising events
- Collect cat food, winter shelters and supplies
Requires minimal travel in far north Cook County
